Rajan Kafle

I’m Rajan Kafle, a photojournalist and visual storyteller from Nepal. I began my career covering the 2006 democratic movement on Nepal Television before expanding into video production, documentary projects, and news photography. From November 2019 to July 2021, I served as the official photographer for Nepal’s Prime Minister’s Office, where I documented key political moments. As a lifetime member of the National Forum of Photo Journalists, I’ve contributed to major outlets like Nepal Television, Kantipur Television, and Channel Nepal Television. I also love mentoring aspiring photographers, leading workshops across Nepal designed to sharpen their skills and inspire visual storytelling. My work has received recognition through several honors, including the Outstanding Youth Photojournalism Award and the Photojournalist of the Year Award.
